Landform Blog Entries: Student Examples & Extensions

I forgot to include a few student examples to the lesson plan on landforms.
Extensions
  • Have students find a satellite image of their landforms on Google Images. This works great with landforms like deltas (see example), gulfs (see example), and rivers (see example).
  • Incorporate a little place geography by making the satellite image be of a specific landform. For example, the delta above is the Mississippi Delta, the gulf is the Gulf of Mexico, and the river is the Ohio River. Then have your students do a little research on the landform and include a few facts in their blog entries.
