Just finished my presentation "Blogs, Digicams, and Discussion Forums: Cutting Edge Technologies for Your Classroom." I was very surprised at the turnout, about 40 people. Evidently, there is some interest in incorporating these technologies into the mathematics classroom.
Something that cracks me up at these trade shows is the number of exhibitors. What are these people thinking? There is so much out there for free on the Web that does everything their products do that to even talk to them for a minute is a waste of my time. Wait, I take that back. They are good for something--getting ideas that I can adapt and use in my classroom for free!
My next session begins in five minutes, more later.
